![]() If I use -XshowSettings:properties, I can confirm that both are absolutely identical, but the JAR won't run unless I add this path manually to the PATH. ![]() The only way the program will run is if I add manually D:\ALPRTest\path-to-dll to my PATH variable in the Windows control panel. By providing an enviroment variable called CUSTOMDIR with a path value, you can have ATLauncher run in a custom directory. Notice that now the error is Can't find dependent libraries instead of a plain no xxx in. > Exception in thread "main" : D:\ALPRTest\dist\openalprjni.dll: Can't find dependent libraries By providing an enviroment variable called CUSTOMDIR with a path value, you can have ATLauncher run in a custom directory. If I try to add the path to DLLs with, it doesn't work either ( note that I append my new path to the existing path instead of overriding it) > java ="%PATH% D:\ALPRTest\path-to-dll" -jar dist\ALPRTest.jar "param1" "param2" > Exception in thread "main" : no openalprjni in minecraft folder and then go to bin or versions. If I try to execute the JAR without any parameters, the DLL won't be found (obviously) : > java -jar dist\ALPRTest.jar "param1" "param2" Open Start menu, if in windows 7 type in appdata and press enter, if on widndows xp open start, click run and type in appdata and press enter. u need to go to the settings in the tlauncher then it says java path right then click on browse then u need to go to the file u just downloaded inside that folder u should see a another foldler which has the name 'bin' and click on it then seach for javaw.exe click on it and now ur java path should be linked to. I load those DLL with System.loadLibrary("openalprjni") I have a JAR file that needs some external DLL to work.
